Are strong relationships really important? (Atlanta Marketing)

by admin

During this tough economy, some Atlanta Marketing companies believe that they have to do whatever is necessary to survive. Even if this means throwing your own associates under the bus.

In the short term this may seem like a quick strategy to make sure that you stay successful and dominant, but what’s the long term effects to your brand? I’m glad you asked.

First, lets start with the importance of your Atlanta Marketing brand. Your brand is what people think of you, your services or your products. Brands are especially important when you market your goods on the Internet. The reason why it’s so important is because people don’t have something tangible. Also, it can be very challenging trying to get your money back from a service which you already purchased online. Therefore, customers have to feel as though they are doing business with someone they can trust.

Next, the most important part of your brand is the word which comes to mind when someone thinks of your Atlanta Marketing company. When someone thinks of your online brand you want to own a very positive word which triggers a buying response. You don’t want them to hear your name and run for the hills! For example, when you think of IBM or Apple you think of quality. IBM and Apple ironically are also known for the way they treat their employees and associates. Some of the common mistakes I see not only Atlanta Marketing companies make but also other companies is mistreating their employees and associates. You CAN NOT treat your associates wrong and expect for them to give your customers good service. That is like eating fast food three times a day and expecting to lose weight it’s not going to happen!

Therefore, be careful with throwing employees and associates who you’ve built strong relationships under the bus. You may end up needing that same person to pull you from under the bus. Moreover, strong relationships can help keep you from under the bus!

People definitely have to realize how important branding is in regards to their company and personal brand. Without establishing a brand, you will not be recognized as an authority within your industry.

Great writing. Especially during this recession, I have seen some mistreatment myself and few attempts to throw me out. But, yes its important that all people treat their associates well.

@frank Funny thing is that the exact thing has happened to me as well.

I believe the bottom line here is that before we try winning others in trusting our brands, we should start winning our own associates trust first.
