This is part of a series of posts I’m going to create on addressing how to increase your market share in a tough economy.
Albany Ga Advertising requires special skills and attention. One of the most important things in advertising is having a clear understanding of your customer base. This includes psycho-graphics which are characteristics pertaining to your customer’s lifestyle, personality and values. In order to build a long lasting relationship with some of your most profitable customer base, you have to understand how they think!
For example, one of the major concerns I hear when I speak to customers in Atlanta, Savannah and Albany Ga about their advertising and marketing is the fact that we’re in a recession. Needless to say, this is true. One of the worse comments I’ve heard business owners saying to people they want to sell is “recession, what recession?” People aren’t stupid! They read the news and speak with their customer’s everyday so they understand things aren’t as peachy and creamy as they once were.
On the other hand, one of the worst things a business can do in a recession is to start to close doors to their business and expect growth. When you cut back on advertising your closing doors. Closing doors to your business is the firs step towards going out of business. You have to be seen to sell!! All though the economy is getting better, since there’s still currently less dollars for consumers to spend it means that as business owners we have to fight harder for our fair share of our industry.
Therefore, when you decide you want to close doors to your business you need to simultaneously get your resume polished, give up your entrepreneurial dreams and prepare to go back to get a job!

Recession has really hit hard on us all. But as you have said, trying as much as we can is the best choice we have got. I hope this recession will end soon and we will have some great time as we did before.
I really like what you said about closing the doors. In recession we tend to cut the cost and the most clear way that we think is on advertising and this really hits us hard.
Advertising is something that sells. Cutting the budget in name of recession is the worse idea ever. This will only increase our risk.
